Co-Site is a specialist construction technology consultancy that aims to help civil and building contractors get the full return on their investment in Candy and allied and/or next generation Construction Technology and strategic integrations — through expert evaluation, assessment, implementation, role-based training, system optimisation and management reporting.
The problem we solve
Contractors invest heavily in software and technology yet rarely experience the full benefit. Implementations get rushed, training stays generic, features and modules go untouched, proficient users leave or retire, IP exits and management reporting becomes a scramble. These aren't software problems — they're selection, implementation, training and change management problems. That's what Co-Site is there to fix.
Needs analysis, system scoping and tailored implementation — from cost structures and WBS to module activation and workflows.
Module-specific, role-relevant training that builds real capability — estimating, scheduling, forecasting, Project Control, EVM and more.
For teams already on Candy or similar applications: a structured "health" and usage audit, gap analysis, remediation and an optimisation roadmap.
Design, configure and automate accurate and auditable reports, dashboards and outputs required.
Principal consultant
Co-Site is led by its founder, Ian Hauptfleisch. Almost three decades of leadership and hands-on work across sales, marketing, product, implementation, training and support of Candy, next generation and allied ConTech — for the software houses and with contractors across South Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, MENA, India, Australasia and the UK.
That full-lifecycle perspective is rare in the market. It's the difference between knowing the software and knowing how value is gained — and lost — by the people using it on real projects.
